What is Sovos Unclaimed Property?
Unclaimed Property is a tool to manage all your unclaimed property reporting-related tasks in one place. Import or manually add properties, and Sovos will guide you through the process of creating due diligence letters and reporting to states. Once you're done reporting, you can keep track of your reporting history directly in your account.

Getting access and configuring your account
After you subscribe, the first user can add your business information and invite more users.
In Unclaimed Property Standard, your account can have up to three users.
Adding properties
Start by importing your properties on the Properties page. Our import validations will help you identify and fix issues in your data. You can also manually add properties one at a time on the Properties page.
Managing properties
After importing, you can view and edit your properties on the Properties page.
Creating due diligence letters
On the Due Diligence > Create Letters page, use the standard template to create due diligence letters. Then, download PDFs of the letters to send to owners.
Reporting to states
When you’re ready to start reporting, create state reports and cover sheets in the NAUPA file format. At the end of the process, we’ll provide instructions with information on how to finish submitting your reports and remitting payment to the states you selected.
Keeping track of your reporting history
On the Properties page, use the Archived filter to review your reporting history. You can also download copies of your due diligence letters from the Letter History page and reports from the Report History page.
