Users

You can add, edit, and delete users on the Users page. You can also resend an invitation email from this page if a user’s link expired.

Your account can have up to three users.

 

Add a user

  1. At the bottom of the side menu, click the Settings icon, then click Users.
  2. Click Add user.Add user.png
  3. In the pop-up, enter the user’s first name, last name, and email. Then click Save.
  4. An invitation email is sent to the user from noreply@sovos.com. Read the article on user access for details on logging in for the first time. 

All users are created with Admin permissions by default.

 

Edit a user

  1. Go to Settings > Users.
  2. Click the More options icon in the Actions column and select Edit.Edit user.png
  3. In the pop-up, edit the user’s First name and Last name, then click Save.

You can’t edit the Email field. To change a user’s email, add a new user with the new email address. Then, delete the user with the old email address.

 

Resend a user’s invitation email

If a user you added can’t log in because the link in the invitation email has expired, you can send a new link.

  1. Go to Settings > Users.
  2. Click the More options icon in the Actions column and select Resend invite.Resent invite.png

The link in the email (from noreply@sovos.com) expires after 72 hours. If the user isn’t receiving the email, they should check their spam folder. If it’s not there, they should contact Sovos support.

 

Delete a user

This action permanently deletes the user.

  1. Go to Settings > Users.
  2. Click the More options icon in the Actions column and select Delete.Delete user.png
