When you sign up for a free trial of Sovos Unclaimed Property, you have access to some, but not all, of the product features. Before the 7-day trial ends, you need to either:
- Activate a paid plan to get full access to Sovos Unclaimed Property, or
- Cancel your free trial and lose access.
You will receive an email one day before your free trial ends. If you do not cancel the free trial, the card on file will automatically be charged for the paid plan you selected when you signed up for the free trial.
Activate paid plan
With a paid plan to Sovos Unclaimed Property, you can download state report preview documents, create electronic reports for more than 30 states, create due diligence letters in bulk, and manage properties through every step of the compliance process.
To activate a paid plan, let your free trial end without canceling it.
Or, complete the process of one of our paid features, for example:
- Go through the due diligence letter creation or state reporting process.
- When you get to the pop-up to activate a paid plan, click Activate paid plan. The card on file will be charged for the paid plan you selected when you signed up for the free trial.
- Your subscription is now active, and you have access to all the product features.

Cancel the free trial
When you cancel your free trial, you will lose access to Sovos Unclaimed Property and any data stored in it.
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click on your subscription information.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
- Select a cancellation reason from the dropdown, then click Confirm Cancellation.
